How it works

1. Entry takes ten seconds

You open the site and fill four fields: nickname, age, profile type and city. An about-you note is optional. Nothing else is asked — no password, no email, no phone. The nickname is public: it shows up in the list and in the conversation, so pick something you are happy to display.

We ask for age because of the 18+ rule, not to build a profile: the service is adults-only and the value cannot be below 18. If someone is not an adult yet, they do not need to read the rules — they simply cannot get in.

On entry your device solves a small maths puzzle (proof of work). It is not a questionnaire and not an image captcha: it is only what stops bots from filling the list with fake cards overnight.

2. The list is live and adjustable

After entry the member list opens. It refreshes by itself: whoever just arrived sits at the top with a green dot, anyone seen recently sits lower. Nothing needs reloading — arrivals and departures stream in live.

• —Profile type and age. Man, Woman, Couple or Other — plus any range between 18 and 99.
• —City. The city changes inside the card itself: write to whoever is nearby, or to anyone on the list.
• —Nickname search. A name match, like in a search engine.
• —Profile type. Filter by Man, Woman, Couple or Other.
• —Sorting. By activity, by age either way, or by nickname — whichever is easier to search.

Before entry, pages do not show member names, photos, online status, or counts. These appear only after entry so member information is not an open directory for spam scrapers.

3. Messaging and files

Tap a card and the chat opens. Messages arrive instantly, with no reload and no ceremony. There are read receipts, an unread counter and a typing indicator.

Photos and files attach to a message: images up to 8 MB, any file up to 25 MB. A file lives on the server and opens only for members of that conversation — even a direct link does nothing for an outsider. Uploads can be deleted by their owner and stop resolving immediately.

Send limits are modest (about 20 messages a minute) and exist for one reason: without them a chat turns into a noticeboard within ten minutes, with one person writing to a hundred others.

4. Couple profile type

Couple is one profile type on one account. It uses the same profile fields and inbox as other profile types; there is no second-person form or invitation step. You can set a profile name in Profile settings.

Profile photos are available only after entry. A photo badge means a file was uploaded, not that we vetted anybody.

5. What we store — and what we do not

We store exactly what a chat cannot work without: nickname, age, profile type, city, country, the about-you text, messages, uploaded files and technical session data. We never ask for an email, a phone number, a real name, precise location or contact-book access.

We keep only an irreversible hash of your IP address for abuse controls and a short location lookup cache. On entry, ipapi.is can use the address to suggest an editable country and region. There is no advertising or third-party tracking: no pixels, no identifiers, no ad profiles. Details are in the privacy policy.

6. When something goes wrong

Both the chat and the profile have Block and Report buttons. Someone you blocked disappears from your list and cannot start a conversation with you. A report enters the moderation queue and feeds the automatic measures: three reports in a week hide the card, eight suspend the account.

We check no documents, so judging the person opposite you stays your responsibility: be careful and reread the safety guide — it lists the scams that turn up in any open chat.
