Terms of use
Document · version of 1 January 2025
In short: the service is free, ad-free and needs no registration; only adults may use it; you are responsible for your own account, your own messages and for who you choose to talk to. The full text follows.
1. General
in·two (the “service”) lets you chat with other users in real time without registration. By messaging, creating a card or using the service in any way you accept these terms in full. If they do not suit you, simply stop using it — there is no checkbox acceptance step and nothing to sign.
The service is free and carries no advertising. There are no payment features at all: we take no money and process no transfers, so any request to pay something inside the chat is almost certainly fraud — covered in the safety guide.
2. Who may use the service
Only people over 18, in any country where that is lawful. By using the service you confirm your age and take responsibility for complying with the law of your country. Accounts under 18 are removed without exception once detected, and reports about them are reviewed first.
3. What the service does not do
We check no documents, verify no identities, confirm no ages against passports and never guarantee that the person opposite is who they claim. No filter, no “online” status and no couple photo badge change that: the badge means a file was uploaded, not that anyone was vetted.
Decisions about meeting safely, sharing personal details and whether to keep talking are yours alone. To lower the risk we provide blocking, reporting and moderation, but we cannot prevent another user from committing fraud.
4. Your account and card
A card is created without a password and cannot be recovered: that is a deliberate choice for the sake of not identifying anyone. You pick the nickname, age, profile type, city and about-you text, and you are responsible for their accuracy. One person, one card; the entry cap per address (six sessions an hour) is technical and says nothing about how many cards exist.
A card can be deleted at any time. Access to a deleted card and its conversations cannot be restored — save anything you need first.
5. Content and rights in it
You keep the rights to everything you write and upload. Granting us a royalty-free licence to place material in the chat permits only what the chat cannot work without: showing it to the other participants, showing it on your profile in signed-in member lists where nickname, age, profile type, city and status are visible, and storing it while the account exists. We will not use your content outside the service.
You may not publish other people’s photos, conversations or personal data. Where material breaks the rules, we may hide it from the recipient, delete it, or hide the card.
6. Moderation and restrictions
We may at any time and without prior notice hide a message, hide a card, suspend an account or throttle actions where there are grounds to believe a rule was broken or a report was filed. Some measures apply automatically at thresholds (three and eight reports in seven days). A decision can be appealed by writing to privacy@intwo.app.
7. Liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”: we do not warrant uninterrupted operation, that conversations survive an outage, or that everyone you meet is who they claim. Responsibility for user actions — including money transfers, publishing other people’s data and fraud — rests with those users.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, data loss, reputational harm or any consequence of decisions made based on chat conversations. Total aggregate liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the service — that is, zero, since the service is free.
8. Ending use
You may stop using the service and delete your card at any time, for no reason. We may withdraw access to the service or a specific feature when required for its operation, for the safety of other users, or to comply with the law.
9. Changes to these terms and governing law
These terms may change; a new version is published on this page and applies from publication. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. Governing law and dispute-resolution venue are set when the public version of the service launches; until then disputes follow applicable law.
Questions about these terms and about data processing: privacy@intwo.app. The documents governing the service are linked here: rules, privacy and how it works.
